NEW YORK — A study finds that the average web designer’s work is more effective than that of the average user.
The report, conducted by The Information, an online news outlet, shows that the majority of web designers believe their websites have the best possible design and that the users are more likely to enjoy their work.
More than 40% of respondents said that their work is the most popular and that users are most likely to share their thoughts on their work, according to the report, published on Tuesday.
Respondents also said that the websites have improved over the years, while most respondents said their websites haven’t changed in the past decade.
A majority of the respondents also said they have tried out new tools and web technologies, and that they feel the web is “growing more and more.”
“The majority of respondents stated that they had tried out some new software or web technology,” the report said.
Some of the web design tools included in the survey included Google Webmaster Tools, Adobe Photoshop CS3, and Adobe After Effects CS3.
It also found that most web designers are aware of how important it is to provide a user experience, according the report.
“It is also clear that designers work as hard to provide their work as they do to design and maintain it,” it said.
“We found that design tools, including web design programs and web design suites, are among the most sought after.”
